the pdfToolbox ColorConvert app uses an old color conversion engine that has been deprecated and should no longer be used. Instead, use the pdfToolbox Profiles app with a pdfToolbox Preflight Profile or Process Plan. In both you can use all of the modern color conversion and manipulation fixups such as:

• Convert colors
• Convert colors using DeviceLink profiles
• Convert colors using n-channel profiles
• Map colors
• Map spot and process colors
• ...

The capabilities of these fixups far surpasses what was possible using the ColorConvert app.

The capabilities of the pdfToolbox Imposition app have been deprecated in favor of the pdfToolbox Actions app. In this pdfToolbox Actions app, there is now a new action type called "Impose" that gives you the same capabilities as the old Imposition app.

Alternatively, it is possible to use an "Impose" Action inside a Process Plan. This also offers the same capabilities, and has the advantage that the imposition step can be combined with other Process Plan steps (for example to run fixups or checks before going to the imposition step).
